VAHLE receives double award from Creditreform
Find out more about the VAHLE Group's awards from Creditreform: EcoZert for sustainability and CrefoZert for excellent creditworthiness.
Paul Vahle GmbH & Co KG has received two awards from Creditreform. The world's leading provider of energy and data transmission systems for mobile applications received EcoZert certification for outstanding sustainability measures and VAHLE's commitment in the areas of the environment, social affairs and corporate governance (ESG - Environment, Social, Governance). With an overall result of more than 90 percent, the Kamen-based company clearly exceeded the benchmark. In addition, VAHLE was awarded the CrefoZert credit rating certificate, making it one of the two percent of German companies that meet the strict requirement criteria. Yesterday, Reinhard Goldmann from Creditreform presented the certificates to VAHLE Managing Director Achim Dries.
"After the successful ISO 14001 certification at the beginning of the year, the award from Creditreform is already our second recognition for sustainability within a few months. This award shows that our commitment to acting responsibly is paying off," emphasizes Achim Dries, Managing Director at VAHLE. Creditreform's EcoZert certification program was developed to help companies communicate their sustainability measures transparently. In addition, VAHLE has received the CrefoZert credit rating certificate, which not only certifies the company's excellent creditworthiness, but also confirms impeccable business conduct and a positive outlook for the future.
During the certification process, the effectiveness of VAHLE's various sustainability initiatives was documented in detail. The audit covered the ESG areas and included an assessment of environmental practices, social responsibilities and corporate governance. Among other things, the company's energy and electricity consumption, CO2 emissions and the entire supply chain were analyzed. Topics such as occupational safety and training opportunities were also included in the assessment. "Our result is impressive. An overall rating of over 90 percent is an additional incentive for us to continue with our full commitment in the future," says a delighted Dries. The systems provider even achieved the full 100 percent in the environment category.
For VAHLE, the certificate not only proves the economic sustainability of the company. It also sets the company apart from its competitors and creates additional trust among customers, partners and employees. "For us, sustainability is far more than just a buzzword. We see it as a concept that encompasses our products and solutions as well as our corporate philosophy," explains Dries. The system provider therefore places a strong focus on recyclable materials and reusable packaging in production. Ecological aspects are also a priority in the areas of development, design and purchasing. This is demonstrated, for example, by the integration of ease of repair right from the development phase.
