Good training also requires good partners in the school part of the training programme. We currently cooperate with the following vocational schools:
The vocational school varies depending on the training occupation and will be determined by us for you. Please refer to the overview under the respective training occupation.
We will enrol you at the right vocational school and make sure that our trainees in a training occupation attend the same class wherever possible.
Well-equipped workstations are available for you. Depending on the profession you are training for, you can use our specially equipped training centre or, particularly in the commercial and IT professions, even work in mobile working. Otherwise, every workstation is of course adapted to ergonomic requirements.
During your training period, you will benefit from a top trainee salary in accordance with the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry in North Rhine-Westphalia plus a voluntary bonus. In addition, we will cover the monthly costs of your trainee ticket so that you are flexible and mobile and can travel to vocational school without worrying about the weather. Of course, you can also use the ticket for your free time!
Our holiday entitlement is based on the provisions of the collective agreement for the metal and electrical industry in North Rhine-Westphalia. It currently amounts to 30 days' holiday per calendar year. The entitlement is calculated pro rata for the months that you are employed by us in a calendar year.
Your apprenticeship with us generally starts on 1 August. Due to the school holidays, vocational school may not start until a later date. You will be informed directly by the school.

An ideal time for your application for the following year at VAHLE is from the summer holidays until around the middle/end of October. It is of course still possible to apply after this time, but it is not certain that we will still be able to consider your application.
As soon as you have uploaded your application correctly, you will receive a confirmation of receipt.
Once the selection process has started, your application will be reviewed. If it meets our expectations, you will be invited to a recruitment test. If you do well, we would then like to get to know you better during an interview.
If we offer you an apprenticeship after this interview, you've made it!
With us, you will pass through various departments to gain a wide range of impressions and experience. It is important to us to challenge you every day and to consolidate what you have learnt in feedback sessions. We also support you individually so that you can develop further.
We promote the cohesion of our trainee team through joint events and project work. In addition to excursions and a trainee Christmas party, you can of course also take part in all other activities such as company parties and company sports.
With us, you can combine your professional and private life. A 35-hour week with flexible working hours, 30 days' holiday and generally time off after vocational school gives you the freedom you need.
All doors are open to you at VAHLE. To keep you on board after your final examination, we offer you long-term career prospects, which you can of course help to shape.
