Apprenticeship as industrial clerk (m/f/d)

Supported by nice colleagues who you can always ask for advice, you will get to know almost all business processes at VAHLE during your training as an industrial clerk, from order initiation to customer service. Your field of activity can be sales as well as procurement and stocking, shipping, the assembly department as well as accounting and human resources. Other areas of work may include: export, logistics, controlling, and so on. In addition, you will gain insight into the processes of product creation as well as goods receiving and picking at our company through job shadowing in the logistics and production areas.

We support our trainees in developing their English language skills. Those with the appropriate prior knowledge and affinity can attend bilingual classes at vocational school and travel to Ireland for up to three months as part of an Erasmus program.

Anyone interested in training as an industrial clerk with us should enjoy working with computers and have strong communication skills in German and English, the ability to cooperate and organizational skills.

• sell the company's products and services
• advise and support customers
• carry out marketing activities from the analysis of market potentials to customer service
• determine the demand for products and services, purchase materials, means of production and services and plan these for the production of goods and services or for sales and distribution
• support the process of order completion, e.g. in service production and logistics
• process accounting transactions
• evaluate key figures and statistics to monitor performance and control operational processes
• plan and organize work processes
• work in a team-, process- and project-oriented manner using current information, communication and media technologies
• use foreign language documentation; communication at VAHLE is mainly in German, but in many areas also in English
