Apprenticeship as industrial clerk (m/f/d)

Supported by friendly colleagues who you can always ask for advice, you will get to know almost all business processes at VAHLE during your training as an industrial clerk, from order initiation to customer service. You may work in sales, procurement and stocking, shipping, assembly, accounting and human resources. Other areas of work may include: export, logistics, controlling and so on. You will also gain an insight into our product creation processes, incoming goods and order picking through work shadowing in the logistics and production departments.

We support our trainees in developing their English language skills. Those with the appropriate prior knowledge and affinity can attend the bilingual class at the vocational school and travel to Ireland for up to three months as part of an Erasmus program.

Anyone interested in training as an industrial clerk with us should enjoy working with computers and have strong communication skills in German and English, the ability to cooperate and organizational skills.

• sell the company's products and services
• advise and support customers
• carry out marketing activities, from analyzing market potential to customer service
• determine the demand for products and services, purchase materials, means of production and services and plan these for service production or sales
• support the order fulfillment process, e.g. in service provision and logistics
• process accounting transactions
• evaluate key figures and statistics to monitor success and control operational processes
• plan and organize work processes
• work in a team, process and project-oriented manner using the latest information, communication and media technologies
• use foreign language documents; communication at VAHLE is mainly in German, but also in English in many areas
