The VAHLE Shuttle Charging System (SLS) is a rail-integrated, contact-based charging solution specifically developed for automated shuttle systems in AS/RS environments. Its ultra-compact charging contacts can be seamlessly integrated into the shuttle rail, minimizing installation space while maintaining high performance.
The system supports charging currents of up to 140 Amps at 48 Volts, enabling rapid energy transfer during short dwell times. This selective charging approach optimizes battery and vehicle efficiency in high-cycle shuttle systems. Charging positions can be installed at aisle ends, within storage lanes or configured as extended charging sections several meters in length for in-motion energy transfer.
