Automated guided vehicles (AGVs), straddle carriers and other mobile industrial systems require reliable, efficient charging solutions to maintain high availability and productivity. In high-throughput environments, battery-powered vehicles must be recharged quickly and safely between operating cycles.

VAHLE industrial charging contact systems provide high-current, contact-based energy transfer for mobile equipment. Unlike inductive systems, conductive charging contacts enable very high current transfer in compact charging positions, making them ideal for fast battery charging applications.

Designed for demanding industrial applications, the systems support charging currents of up to 600 Amps and are suitable for a wide range of voltage levels.

Robust pressure contacts and durable sliding materials ensure long service life and consistent electrical performance, even under high mechanical loads. Linear guide elements allow generous tolerances, supporting reliable contact engagement in dynamic operating environments.

With over three decades of experience in conductive charging technology, VAHLE Inc. offers both standardized and fully customized configurations. Drive-on and drive-over solutions can be adapted to specific installation conditions, power requirements and mechanical constraints.
