Overhead hoist transport (OHT) systems are used wherever materials must be moved automatically above the floor. Typical applications include intralogistics systems in warehouses and distribution centers, production logistics in automotive and industrial plants as well as cleanrooms and semiconductor fabs. OHT carriers travel on overhead tracks and transport containers, pallets or workpiece carriers between storage, production and inspection areas while keeping aisles and workspaces free.
