Mobile industrial applications require reliable energy transmission across diverse environmental conditions and performance ranges. The U15, U25 and U35 insulated conductor rail systems are designed for medium-duty applications that demand flexible installation and dependable power supply in both indoor and outdoor environments.
These contact-protected conductor rails support multi-track installations and can be mounted or suspended laterally or vertically. This makes it possible to adapt to curved layouts, allowing for complex crane systems, transport systems and material handling applications.
When combined with the VAHLE Multi-Carrier (VMT) or support profile (VTP), the U15 and U25’s suspension distances and application ranges can be extended. Integrated positioning systems can also be incorporated to support automation-ready system designs.
The U35 conductor rail, featuring aluminum or stainless steel conductor options, is particularly suited for demanding outdoor and maritime environments. It is widely used for RTG, RMG and STS crane electrification in port facilities where humidity and salty air require corrosion-resistant solutions.
All systems are contact-protected in accordance with DIN VDE 0100 and can be configured with multiple poles. Optional heating elements prevent icing, while high-temperature versions of U25 and U35 enable reliable operation in extreme environments.
