Automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) rely on stacker cranes to handle vertical and horizontal storage in high-bay warehouses. Stacker cranes can be guided in one or more lanes and move in three directions along their longitudinal, transverse or vertical axis. They either operate in aisles or serve the entire warehouse with the aid of a switch system. These systems must operate with speed, reliability and minimal tolerance for downtime.

The SMGM enables the integration of interference-free data transmission. The communication takes place in a shielded aluminum profile, the so-called slotted waveguide, so that no interference or any influence on other communication systems in the environment must be taken into account. Due to its ultra compact design, it can be easily integrated into almost all common EMS profiles and systems.
The VKS10 was specially developed for intralogistics and enables the transmission of drive power, control currents and other signals.

The VKS was developed for small installation arms and can be assigned up to six poles. This means that the system can also transmit control currents and other signals in addition to the drive power.
