Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) have long been standard in intralogistics. Even in container handling at ports, the automatic helpers are used today.
In the past, terminal vehicles mostly had a diesel engine. However, as part of the conversion to Green Ports, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) have been and are being converted to battery-electric drives in many places. A special infrastructure is required for the energy supply.
