VAHLE Automation GmbH now fully part of the VAHLE Group
The VAHLE Group has acquired 100 percent of VAHLE Automation GmbH with effect from May 1, 2021. In 2013, the Kamen-based systems supplier founded the joint venture together with the Tyrolean DETO Group. In recent years, the joint venture has successfully developed into the VAHLE Group's innovation and technology center for automation solutions. In the future, the subsidiary in Schwoich will serve the systems provider for mobile industrial applications as a development site for the entire product portfolio.
"VAHLE supplies integrated system solutions for mobile industrial applications. The automation division makes our product portfolio complete. We thus offer our customers an all-round package consisting of energy transmission, positioning, data communication and control systems," explains Achim Dries, CEO of the VAHLE Group. The Kamen-based company had founded the joint venture VAHLE Automation as an innovation center together with the Austrian control specialist DETO. "Since May 1, 2021, VAHLE Automation GmbH has now become a full part of the parent group," Dries said.
Alfred della Torre, founder of the DETO Group, will withdraw from the joint venture as planned in the course of the acquisition. "In just under ten years, the VAHLE Automation team has succeeded in establishing a development site, including a demo factory, and convincing renowned international customers with innovations in the field of automation solutions," said Dries. This has made the subsidiary and its employees an important part of the VAHLE Group.
The systems provider therefore continues to rely on the innovative strength of the Tyrolean location and the great technical expertise of the team. "Together with our research and development department at the headquarters in Kamen, VAHLE Automation will form a technology axis," Dries outlines the plans. The Schwoich demo factory, where the team of experts will turn new technologies and innovations into reality, will serve as the basis for dynamic progress. In addition, VAHLE Automation will specifically strengthen its activities in the areas of hardware and software development as well as project management and focus on cooperation with universities and technical colleges in the region.
