VAHLE opens subsidiary on Indian subcontinent:
Industrial metropolis Pune new location of Vahle India Pvt. Ltd.
Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG has announced the opening of its own subsidiary in India, and is thus further expanding its network of branches. Vahle India Pvt. Ltd. is based in Pune in western India, one of the most important centers of the Indian automotive industry as well as an important location for many German companies. With the new, officially founded offshoot, the Kamen-based system supplier for mobile industrial applications strengthens its market presence in the region and lays the foundation for further growth in India, the most populous country in the world.
"For more than 30 years, we have been serving the Indian market through our sales network of representatives. In order to further expand our commitment in the Indian market and to push our international growth, the establishment of our own subsidiary was the logical consequence," says Achim Dries, Managing Director of Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG. The aim is to be able to offer customers even closer local support and sales expertise.
The choice of the location of Vahle India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, in the west of India, has mainly strategic reasons: "The important industrial location offers optimal conditions to further establish VAHLE as a system supplier for mobile industrial applications. In particular, our key customers, such as the Adani Group in the northwest or Tata Steel in the east of the subcontinent, should receive the best possible service locally," explains Dries.
