VAHLE exhibits at SPS: Retrofit and intelligent controls for the future
VAHLE presents: RetroFit as the key to added value and plant optimisation
Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG will be presenting innovations in the field of industrial automation at this year's SPS - Smart Production Solutions from 25 to 27 November 2025 in Nuremberg. The focus will be on system retrofits and the vDRIVE control portfolio. Under the motto "RetroFit for future", VAHLE will show how companies can design existing and new systems efficiently, safely and in compliance with the new EU Machinery Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1230).
The leading manufacturer of automation and energy transmission solutions will be presenting technologies that can be used to easily and economically update existing systems. The aim is to gradually maximise efficiency, flexibility and safety in existing systems. This makes it easy to implement the requirements of the Machinery Directive, which will become mandatory from 20 January 2027.
The latest upgrades to the vDRIVE control systems offer maximum flexibility, safety and future-orientation:
- VCS1:Full compatibility with existing command transmission systems, simple parameterisation via USB-C interface and retrofit flexibility.
- VCSX: Full PROFINET connectivity, scalable extensions in a transparent architecture (no black box).
- VCS-SAFETÜV-certified variants with integrated safety functions (MVO-compliant), predefined applications and simple configuration without programming effort.
This means that the new legal requirements applicable from 20 January 2027 can be implemented. These solutions offer full connectivity, simple integration, maximum availability and future-proofing, particularly for electrified monorail systems in automotive production and skid systems. This means that production lines and systems remain MVO-compliant and future-proof.
"The new EU Machinery Regulation is a challenge for many companies. With our retrofit solutions and the vDRIVE control portfolio in particular, we make implementation easy and offer real future-proofing," says André Adolph, Business Unit Manager Automotive at VAHLE.
Visit VAHLE from 25 to 27 November 2025 in Hall 4, Stand 336, and find out how you can make your systems fit for the future.
