VAHLE supports children's and youth aid in the region at Christmas
At Christmas, VAHLE donates to two regional children's and youth welfare organizations. The Förderverein für Jugendhilfe Kamen e.V. and Aktion Lichtblicke e.V. will each receive 2,000 euros. Both associations are dedicated to disadvantaged children and young people or those affected by strokes of fate, as well as their families. Half of the money comes from the social fund financed by the workforce, while the other half is contributed by the Kamen-based company itself. The donation check was presented by the works council and management.
Kamen, December 15, 2020 - "The past year and the Covid-19 pandemic have not left our company unscathed. Nevertheless, we should not forget that there are many people who need our help right now," says Achim Dries, Managing Director of Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG. The Kamen-based systems provider for mobile industrial equipment is therefore supporting two regional children and youth welfare organizations this year. "It is the youngest ones who are particularly affected by the social or financial emergencies of their families. We would like to give them our attention and help at Christmas," says the managing director.
The donation of 4,000 euros, which is divided equally between the company and the social fund financed by employees, will benefit the Förderverein der Jugendhilfe Kamen e.V. and Aktion Lichtblicke e.V. Both organizations see themselves as a lobby for those in need of help and are responsible for various regional projects. Uwe Dickmann, who manages the social fund as a member of the works council of Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG, explains, "Among other things, we will use the money to help provide socially disadvantaged children in Kamen with decent equipment for homeschooling."
Dries and Dickmann presented the check to Mr. Gibbels, 1st Chairman of the Förderverein für Jugendhilfe Kamen e. V.
