VAHLE brings careers to life at Girls’ and Boys’ Day 2026
Girls' and Boys' Day will take place at VAHLE on 23 April. School pupils will have the opportunity to gain a practical insight into everyday working life.
On 23 April, it’s that time again: Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG is opening its doors for the nationwide Girls’ and Boys’ Day. School pupils from Year 8 onwards will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive insight into the working world of a modern industrial company. Under the motto “Future Day at VAHLE”, participants can experience apprenticeship roles first-hand.
“We don’t just want to explain professions in theory, but to bring them to life,” says Julia Hofmann, HR consultant and trainer at VAHLE. During a meet-and-greet and a tour of the production and administration departments, apprentices from the fields of IT, industry, electronics, metalworking and logistics will provide authentic insights into their day-to-day work.
From 9 am to 2.30 pm, a varied programme also awaits the young people in the VAHLE showroom. A particular highlight: the content is delivered directly by current apprentices, who share their first-hand experiences.
“A total of 20 places are available for Future Day. Anyone wishing to take part should apply early, as places may be snapped up quickly,” explains Hofmann. Interested pupils can submit their application documents by 2 April 2026. These should consist of a short cover letter and a CV in table format.
VAHLE is the largest employer in Kamen and has been successfully using Future Day for years to give young talents the opportunity to discover their individual strengths and explore new career fields, free from stereotypes.
Places still available: Applications for Future Day can be submitted here until 2 April.
