VAHLE receives UL certification for non-contact energy transfer solutions
The VAHLE vPOWER inductive solutions PPU330 and PPU10K have received UL certification!
Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG has received UL certification for its vPOWER inductive solutions, in particular the PPU330 and PPU10K systems. This entitles the provider of intelligent automation and mobility solutions to display the renowned UL test mark on these products with immediate effect - a decisive advantage for market access in North America. The test mark confirms the conformity of the products with the high safety standards of the USA and Canada. With this certification, VAHLE comprehensively fulfills the global requirements for product safety, compatibility and quality.
"We are proud that our vPOWER inductive solutions have successfully passed the UL certification. Many companies in the USA and Canada even require this in order to integrate products into their systems," says Marc Detweiler, Director of Product Management and Marketing at the globally active VAHLE Group. With the recently received Notice of Authorization (NofA), VAHLE is now officially entitled to apply the UL test mark to its certified products.
The UL certification ensures that the PPU330 and PPU10K systems meet the high safety and quality requirements of the North American market. "This forms a solid basis for the use of our products by plant manufacturers and system integrators who rely on tested safety standards to implement successful projects in these regions," explains Detweiler.
VAHLE was also able to speed up the inspection process, which saved both time and resources. An initial inspection was not required as the VAHLE manufacturing facility is already approved and has similar Category Control Numbers (CCNs). "This was a considerable advantage, as such an inspection is usually mandatory for new e-files," says Detweiler. For VAHLE, UL certification offers the opportunity to position its compliant products with greater market acceptance and thus further strengthen its competitiveness in North America.
About UL certification:
The UL mark is awarded by the independent organization Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and indicates that a product meets certain safety standards. It is applied to products that have undergone rigorous testing for risks such as fire hazards, electric shock or chemical reactions. The mark is recognized worldwide and stands for confidence in the quality and safety of products, especially in areas such as electronics, household appliances and building products. UL conducts regular inspections to ensure that certified products continue to meet safety requirements. The mark helps consumers to rely on the reliability and safety of products.
