Twelve new skilled workers: VAHLE celebrates successful completion of apprenticeships
A successful conclusion at VAHLE: Twelve apprentices have successfully completed their training and were honoured for their achievements at a celebratory event. Eleven of them will remain with the company and, as qualified specialists, will strengthen various departments at VAHLE in future.
Twelve young people have successfully completed their apprenticeships at Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG. At a graduation ceremony held on 14 July, the Kamen-based family business recognised the achievements of its young talent and, together with them, looked back on a significant milestone in their professional development.
“Our apprentices are a key part of our future. By providing them with a sound apprenticeship, we create the conditions for young people to take on responsibility at an early stage and continue to develop their careers at VAHLE in the long term,” says Kathrina Adelsberger, Head of the Apprenticeship & Training Department at Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG.
Training the next generation of staff has always been a top priority at VAHLE. As an internationally active family-run business, the systems provider for mobile industrial applications focuses on the targeted support and development of its own skilled workforce. In doing so, VAHLE creates long-term prospects for those starting their careers whilst simultaneously strengthening the Kamen site.
During their apprenticeship, the graduates gained comprehensive insights into various areas of the company, from warehousing and production to administration. In the process, they learnt about commercial processes, worked on machinery and plant, supported production processes and took on responsibility in areas such as quality assurance, logistics and engineering.
The diversity of the apprenticeship programmes highlights the different ways in which these young skilled workers can contribute to the company’s success in the future. The graduating cohorts include industrial business administrators, production mechanics, industrial mechanics, electronics technicians, metalworking specialists, qualified warehouse clerks and industrial electricians. “Our apprenticeship programme thrives on the breadth of professions and, above all, on the people behind them. Each and every one of them contributes their own knowledge, commitment and new ideas. We are particularly proud of this today,” says Adelsberger.
A large proportion of the graduates remain with the company even after completing their training: eleven young professionals are being taken on by VAHLE and are starting their careers as qualified specialists within the company. In doing so, VAHLE underlines its commitment to nurturing talent at an early stage and retaining it within the company in the long term.
The focus of the event was on recognising the achievements of the graduates throughout their entire training period. The twelve young professionals were honoured at a ceremony and received a personal gift as a memento of their time at VAHLE.
