Technical product designer | Training at VAHLE

Technical products need a good design and an appealing layout in order to function well and be easy to use. Of course, this also applies in particular to our product range of mobile industrial applications for our customers. The technical product designer specializing in machine and system design is responsible for this at VAHLE.

In addition to analysis, conception, prototyping and series production support, your tasks as a Technical Product Designer at VAHLE will also include brainstorming. You will work closely with our engineers and other product designers. During your training, in which you will be supported by many friendly colleagues, you will learn how to use various programs to create and modify 3D data sets and documentation for components and assemblies. If you are interested in this apprenticeship, you should be creative, have a good imagination and a keen interest in technical contexts.

Vocational school and duration of training

The apprenticeship to become a technical product designer is a so-called dual apprenticeship: You will learn the theoretical basics at Hellweg Berufskolleg Unna and the practical part at our company. The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years, but can be shortened if you perform well.
