In addition, many of the introductions and events are held digitally.
"Companies invest in their future by promoting young talent. We are delighted that 14 young professionals have started their careers with us today," says Achim Dries, Managing Director of Paul Vahle GmbH & Co KG. Special precautions were necessary this year in order to comply with the applicable distancing regulations and protect everyone's health. The trainees began their first day of work in two separate groups, and much of the event content was taught digitally and via video. Accepting the difficult conditions and organizational hurdles was a matter of course for Mr Dries: "Despite the unusual situation, we want to give the young people as normal and successful a start to their careers as possible."
The 14 trainees will learn nine different professions at VAHLE. The group consists of three prospective industrial clerks with an EU qualification, two industrial mechanics, a metal technology specialist, a production mechanic who was taken on after one year of entry-level training due to his outstanding performance, two technical product designers, two warehouse specialists, an electronics technician GS, an industrial electrician GS and a digital and print media designer.
