13 trainees start their careers at VAHLE
Today, VAHLE welcomed 13 young professionals at the start of the new training year. Among the trainees who are embarking on various industrial and commercial career paths at the Kamen-based system provider for mobile industrial applications is, for the first time, a prospective IT specialist. During the first few days, the new recruits get to know the company and their colleagues as part of an orientation week.
"Good promotion of young talent is a necessary prerequisite for a vital company. We are delighted that thirteen young people are starting their careers with us today," says Achim Dries, Managing Director of Paul Vahle GmbH & Co KG. In view of the low incidence, the orientation week will once again take place under largely normal circumstances. "The trainees of today are the skilled workers of tomorrow. Our company and a diverse industry with future-oriented topics such as robotics and automation offer excellent career prospects," says Dries.
The first few days at the company offer the young new VAHL employees a variety of impressions. In addition to a welcome from the management, this includes various training sessions and initial instructions as well as a trainee etiquette course to make it easier for them to start their careers. The obligatory company rally, where the new arrivals are allowed to explore the factory premises, can also take place again this year. Training manager Kathrina Adelsberger reports: "A special highlight will be the fire drill, which is always a hot topic."
The 13 young professionals are embarking on different career paths at VAHLE. The group consists of two prospective metal technology specialists, two production mechanics, two industrial electricians, two warehouse specialists, one IT specialist and one IT specialist as well as two industrial clerks and one industrial clerk with an additional qualification as a foreign language correspondent.
The Kamen-based system provider for mobile industrial applications will also be offering training next year and is already looking for interested candidates. Further information about training at Paul Vahle GmbH & Co KG can be found here.
