VAHLE presents innovative solutions for green port terminals at TOC Europe in Rotterdam
VAHLE will be at stand C20 at TOC Europe, the most important port trade fair, which takes place in Rotterdam from June 13 to 15.
Kamen / Rotterdam (NL), May 31, 2023 - Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG is presenting several innovative solutions for green port terminals at this year's TOC Europe in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. From June 13 to 15, the system provider for mobile industrial applications will be showcasing various energy and data transmission solutions at its stand C20, which aim to increase energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of port terminals. To this end, the Kamen-based company has developed a variety of technologies that are specifically tailored to the requirements of the port industry.
"TOC Europe is a trade fair highlight in the calendar year for us and offers us the ideal platform to present our green solutions for port terminals and to exchange ideas with experts," emphasizes Jaroslaw Warzecha, Director Systems at the VAHLE Group and responsible for the port business. As a pioneer of sustainable technologies in the maritime industry, VAHLE will be showcasing its innovative solutions for electrically powered automated container terminals and environmentally friendly drive concepts that enable a sustainable reduction in CO2 emissions.
The central topic at the VAHLE stand will be the electrification of port terminals. Visitors to the trade fair can discover the latest automation and energy transmission solutions for diesel cranes for greenfield facilities as well as innovative solutions for the modernization of brownfield terminals.
In addition, the system provider for mobile industrial applications will also be presenting its solutions for STS (ship-to-shore) cranes, including the innovative USMGX technology. The latter is used to ensure a reliable and efficient power supply and improve the performance of the cranes. VAHLE will also be showcasing its shore power solutions for the quayside. This enables ships to be supplied with electricity during their stay in port, which in turn helps to further reduce their emissions in port.
VAHLE can be found on stand C20 at TOC Europe, one of the world's largest trade fairs for port, ship and terminal technology. "Anyone who wants to see our solutions live in action is cordially invited to visit our stand. We are also looking forward to exchanging ideas with experts from the maritime industry," says Warzecha. The company is also proud to contribute to shaping a sustainable future for container terminals.
