VAHLE launches the compact and powerful VCL conductor rail system
Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG launches the new modular compact conductor line VCL (VAHLE COMPACT LINE) on the global market. The VCL has been designed as an all-in-one solution for shuttle systems, automated small parts warehouses (AKL) and storage and retrieval machines (RGB) as well as for compact shuttle and transfer cart applications in the small and medium capacity range.

We provide the basis for this with innovative products for safe signal and power supply, such as our new VAHLE COMPACT LINE safety compact conductor rail - VCL for short," says Rüdiger Jour, Product Manager at the VAHLE Group. Thanks to its modular and compact design, the solution is specially designed for use in shuttle systems, miniload and stacker crane applications as well as transfer car applications in the low and medium performance range.
"It stands out from other systems in particular due to its modularity, scalability and simple installation," emphasizes Jour. The VCL can be individually configured according to the application, making it a multifunctional solution for the continuous energy supply of logistics applications that ensures maximum system availability. The VCL is available with 2 to 6 poles and meets power requirements of between 40 amps with a galvanized steel conductor and up to 100 amps with a copper conductor, as well as voltages ranging from 12 to 500 volts. The VCL is also compatible with the proven VAHLE multi-carrier (VMT). The combination of conductor rail and multi-carrier creates a cost-effective and compact solution for a wide range of storage technology applications with large suspension distances of up to 3.5 meters.
Another advantage: the simple and quick installation using clip technology and the low number of components keep installation costs low. Particularly durable carbon brushes also avoid high maintenance and repair costs, which reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO). VAHLE therefore offers a cost-effective and scalable solution for demanding applications such as multi-channel e-commerce. The ultra-compact design even enables uncomplicated installation within a shuttle rail. As with all VAHLE products, safety is the top priority with the VCL: protection against accidental contact to IP2x (finger protection and protection against foreign bodies) and an optional PE protective conductor guarantee trouble-free and accident-free operation.
