VAHLE opens subsidiary on the Indian subcontinent:
Industrial metropolis Pune new location of Vahle India Pvt. Ltd.
Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG has announced the opening of its own subsidiary in India, thereby further expanding its branch network. Vahle India Pvt. Ltd. is based in Pune in western India, one of the most important centers of the Indian automotive industry and an important location for many German investors. With the new, officially founded subsidiary, the Kamen-based system supplier for mobile industrial applications is strengthening its market presence in the region and laying the foundations for further growth in India, the world's most populous country.
"We have been serving the Indian market for more than 30 years through our sales network of representatives. In order to further expand our involvement in the Indian market and accelerate our international growth, the establishment of our own subsidiary was the logical next step," says Achim Dries, Managing Director of Paul Vahle GmbH & Co KG. The aim is to be able to offer customers even closer local support and sales expertise.
The choice of the location of Vahle India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, in the west of India, is primarily for strategic reasons: "The important industrial location offers optimal conditions for further establishing VAHLE as a system supplier for mobile industrial applications. In particular, our key customers, such as the Adani Group in the northwest or Tata Steel in the east of the subcontinent, should receive the best possible service locally," explains Dries.
