Background
Bartholet Maschinenbau AG, the Swiss expert for ropeway and amusement park installations, has built a new chairlift for Andermatt Sedrun Sport AG. This 6-seater chairlift was completed and put into operation in 2016.
The special feature of this project was the total of 276 heated and comfortable leather sports car seats.
The challenge
The customer needed a system to transfer energy to the ultracaps. This ensures the energy supply for the seat heating integrated in the leather seats during the journey
between the top and bottom stations.
Our solution
Entrusted with this task, VAHLE developed a switchgear combination for the voltage-free up and down movement of the current collectors on the conductor rail as well as
special insertion funnels. The U25/90AE conductor rail system was the optimum solution for this. It ensures a direct current supply for up to 3 chairlifts in the stations.
