Start of training at VAHLE: 16 new talents start their careers in Kamen

Paul Vahle GmbH & Co KG welcomes 16 new trainees at the Kamen site. The new recruits are starting their careers in eight different training occupations, including the second year in the field of electronics for industrial engineering and in the long-established VAHLE training occupations of industrial clerk and production mechanic. As in previous years, the leading system provider for mobile industrial applications organizes a four-day introductory event at which the new trainees get to know the company, the industry and their rights and obligations during their training. The focus is on personal exchange. After all, the targeted promotion of young talent from day one is firmly anchored in the culture of the Kamen-based family business.

"The future of not only our company but of the entire industry lies in the next generation. That's why we at VAHLE specifically promote the professional development of our trainees right from the start. And so we are delighted to welcome another 16 young talents this year," says Kathrina Adelsberger, Head of Training at VAHLE. With today's start of the training year, the Kamen-based company employs a total of 42 trainees. "Over the next two or three years, the young talents will lay the foundations for their professional future. To ensure a successful and varied start, we are once again offering a comprehensive introductory program," says Adelsberger.

After the official welcome by Chief Sales Officer Thomas Barthel, the focus was initially on getting to know each other. Initial program items such as a presentation of the company's history and instructions on occupational safety and fire protection rounded off the kick-off. In the coming days, the trainees can expect a varied program, including basic training on products and industries, introductions to their rights and obligations during their training, company tours and individual insights into the respective professional fields by their trainers. The official start in the specialist areas is on August 7. A special highlight will follow on August 26, when all trainees across all years will meet for a joint networking excursion: "The excursion promotes togetherness and remains a very special memory for our trainees every year," says Adelsberger.

The new intake at the Kamen-based company consists of four prospective industrial clerks, one IT specialist for system integration, one technical product designer and one technical product designer, two warehouse specialists, one electronics technician for devices and systems, one industrial electrician and one electronics technician for industrial engineering and four production mechanics. "It is particularly pleasing that three young women have decided to train at VAHLE this year, two of them in technical areas," says Adelsberger happily. 
Another highlight for all apprenticeship cohorts will follow on 16 September, when 14 newly qualified specialists will be honored at the congratulatory event for the 2025 graduating class.

As the largest employer in Kamen, VAHLE is delighted with the successful start of the new trainees. The family-owned company is already looking for motivated applicants for the coming training year who would like to start their professional career with a leading systems provider.
