Covid-19: Current situation, as at 13.5.2020
VAHLE is currently delivering from the Kamen warehouse without restrictions. Customer visits are possible again under strict hygiene conditions.
All known precautionary measures recommended by the authorities are currently being implemented at the Paul Vahle GmbH & Co KG headquarters in Kamen (North Rhine-Westphalia).
The further relaxation from May 11th will also allow customer visits to you on site or at the VAHLE headquarters in Kamen under strict hygiene conditions.
Since March 16, 2020, all employees for whom this is possible have been working from home as a preventive measure. You can still reach every employee as usual by phone or e-mail. However, regular work operations remain unaffected.
The Operations division is in daily contact with our partners and suppliers. We have significantly increased safety measures within the plant to ensure the continued well-being of our employees who actively support us at the Kamen production site.
In addition, flexible working hours are being used to reduce staffing levels in production in order to minimize the risk of infection.
The supply chains for our production in Kamen are intact, so there have been no delays here either. We are also able to ensure local supply globally thanks to the storage capacities of our subsidiaries in Brazil, China, the USA, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Portugal and Austria.
As a component supplier for medical technology and other critical industries, we are classified as systemically important in most countries.
However, we have no influence on local supply chains that are affected by external influences.
